Adam's upcoming Toubkal Adventure with Rhod Gilbert

Our MD, Adam, is all set to fly out to Morocco for another epic challenge this week!

Adam trekked to Everest base camp in 2019, and is now embarking on a similarly challenging hike... to scale Mount Toubkal - North Africa's highest mountain.

This 3 day trip, in the High Atlas Mountains, will take Adam to an altitude of 13,671ft and will involve 8-12 hours of trekking each day over rolling foothills, long steep climbs, and long descents!

The climb is being completed in aid of Velindre, a cancer centre based in Cardiff, and is being led by Velindre Patron - and well-known comedian - Rhod Gilbert!

In 2022, Rhod Gilbert was diagnosed with a little-known form of head and neck cancer, and has been undergoing treatment for his cancer since then (with assistance provided by Velindre).

In circumstances that strongly resonate with his own cancer journey, Adam was strongly drawn to sign-up when he saw details of the challenge.
