Another fabulous Skipton Business Awards

We had a wonderful time on Monday evening (6th October) celebrating the Skipton Business Awards.

The event was held at Skipton Town Hall, and - whilst it felt a little strange to be so dressed up on a Monday evening - everyone showed up in their best frocks/suits to celebrate many of the marvellous businesses in and around Skipton.

We were delighted to be involved in the event as a category sponsor. This time, we sponsored the 'Skipton Shining Star Award' - recognising a business, individual, or organisation making a real difference in the community.

The finalists in our category were:

• Dean Majors (of The Backcave)

• Mark Shaw (of Craven Community Boxing Club)

• Share Skipton

The judges must have had a difficult time deciding on the winner from such worthy candidates, but ultimately the award went to Mark Shaw of Craven Community Boxing - a very deserving winner, who does his best to make a difference in our local area.

Huge congratulations go out to all the other category winners. And thank you to the organisers, Skipton Bid, for putting on such a fabulous event! Roll on 2026.
