The first measures under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act came into force on Monday 4 March 2024.
Companies House has new and enhanced powers to improve the quality and reliability of its data and tackle misuse of the companies register.
The measures are intended to lead to improved transparency and more accurate and trusted information on their registers.
