HMRC interest rates - a further increase

Following the Bank of England’s recent decision to raise the bank base rate by 0.5%, HM Revenue & Customs are increasing the rate of late-payment interest for most taxes to 4.25%. The repayment interest rate is increased to 0.75%, from 23 August 2022.
