Following the success of Landscape Recovery round one, last week DEFRA announced that the second round of Landscape Recovery will open this spring.
Landscape Recovery is for farmers and land managers who want to take a large-scale, long-term approach to producing environmental and climate goods on their land.
Round two will focus on projects of at least 500 hectares targeting net zero, protected sites and habitat creation. All projects will also be assessed for the benefits they will deliver for a wider range of objectives such as water quality and social outcomes.
DEFRA have shared more information about a series of webinars they will be hosting in the coming weeks to provide more information about this exciting opportunity.
