Low income Reform group's guide for tax checks for taxi, private hire and scrap metal licences

Since 4 April 2022, those renewing a taxi, private hire or scrap metal licence need to complete a ‘tax check’ with HMRC so they can renew that licence. Agents cannot do this for their clients taxpayer’s behalf, but agents can play a role in explaining what their clients need to do.
