New way to sign into HMRC online services

GOV.UK One Login will be a new way of signing into government services using an email address and password which will be offered to some individual taxpayers from May 2024.   

If you already have a Government Gateway account, you should continue to access HMRC’s online services in the same way you do now. At a later stage, you will be asked to create a GOV.UK One Login.
