NS&I Green Savings Bonds have been launched

These are 3-year fixed-term savings bonds in which you can invest between £100 and £100,000 at a fixed interest rate of 0.65%.

There are six key area on which the government plans to spend the money raised: making transport cleaner, renewable energy over fossil fuels, preventing pollution, using energy in a more efficient way, protecting natural resources and adapting to a changing climate.
