P11D and P11D(b) filing and payment deadlines


Form P11Ds are used by an employer to tell HMRC about the benefits employees or directors are receiving in addition to your salary, such as company cars or private medical cover.


As an employer you must remember to tell HMRC about any Class 1A National Insurance contributions that they owe for the tax year ending 5 April 2022 by 6 July 2022 at the latest.


You also need to send HMRC any P11D forms due by 6 July as failure to do so may result in a penalty. Any Class 1A National Insurance you owe to HMRC on these benefits must reach them by 22 July.
