Tax Update - Employment Allowance Increased from £4,000 to £5,000

The government has increased the Employment Allowance to help SMEs reduce their annual National Insurance liability by up to £5,000.

You can claim the Employment Allowance if your employer Class 1 National Insurance liabilities were less than £100,000 in the previous tax year.
